Rachael Erin Barry

Photography has been part of my life since I was very young, starting on the other side of the lens as a model in all my mother's photoshoots. It was in high school when I developed a personal interest for it. I used photography as a way to better understand myself. I loved the way an image could capture so much emotion, especially at a time when it was hard for me to put words to mine.
An image can tell a story and convey feeling without using a word, and I appreciate that because words can be very limiting. However, words can also be very freeing, if the right ones are found and used well. Photography has not only helped me feel my words but has also helped me find and express them. It has been around for over half my life now, and I reckon it's here to stay.
This is a place of collected moments, windows into a world where the meaning for me was whatever I gave it, in the way I saw it, lasting for forever.
